About Prime Grain

Prime Grain operates the grain elevator at Frankfort, Indiana, receiving corn from producers and custom haulers throughout the region. The facility was recently taken over and modernized: our truck scale, message board, ticket printer and moisture testing all run on one system, so drivers spend less time waiting and every load is documented the same way, every time.

We are a small local team. When you call, you get someone at the scale house, not a call center.

What we do

Grain receiving

Corn delivered by farm truck or semi. Fast unload, clear direction from the lane sign, and a printed scale ticket on every load.

Badge-in scale ticketing

Each truck gets a badge tied to your account. Badge in on the way in, badge out on the way out: gross, tare and net are recorded automatically and printed for the driver.

Moisture testing

Moisture is tested on site and attached to your ticket, so you and your driver see the same number we do.

Text alerts

Optional operational texts for account holders: a truck that badged in but never badged out, and elevator status updates. Details below.

Prime Grain text alerts

Account holders can receive operational text messages from Prime Grain. This is a customer-service program, not marketing.
